My New Blog

Hi Everyone,

Its that time of year again to give thanks for everything and everyone in our lives. It has been a tough year for so much of the country, with tornadoes, earthquakes, fires and hurricanes. Hopefully, the bad weather is behind us and we can look forward to a better winter.

The temperatures here are still in the 80's everyday with lows in the 60's at night. BEAUTIFUL weather!! Rental reservations for our wonderful area of Florida are unbelievable. I have a few places available for January and March, but February is completely booked with the exception of a beautiful villa that is a 3 month minimum. If you have not made your plans, please don't wait any longer. Time is running out....

We can tell from the traffic that our winter residents have returned and we are very glad to see them back.

Well, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and if you have the energy to take advantage of Black Friday, Good Luck!!!

Diana

Hi Everyone,

Summer is over and fall is almost here. Although you would never know it if you live in southwest Florida! Our temperatures are still in the 90's during the day and 80's at night.

We have been so lucky this year to have escaped the disasters that have plagued so much of the country. The destruction caused by the hurricane, earthquake and fires has been awful and our hearts go out to all of the people that have suffered.

On a lighter note, if you have not made your vacation plans to visit our beautiful area, now is the time! I have taken more reservations this year for 2012 than ever before. There are very few places available for February and March. I do have some lovely places for rent for Janurary, so please don't wait much longer to make those plans. Also, if you own a home, villa or condo and would like to have someone manage it for you, please give me a call. We are desperate for more properties to rent!

Well, enjoy the beautiful fall weather and I will be in touch..

Hi Everyone,

Next week-end we will be celebrating the 4th of July! It is so hard to believe that summer is here and will be over before we know it. Time is going by so fast! I hope everyone who is planning on visiting South West Florida (Venice) next winter is getting ready to make their plans! February and March are the most popular months and there is very little left to choose from. As always, our weather is beautiful here. It has been very hot, but most of the country has been also.

There are so many activities going on this summer in Venice and especially during the holiday week-end. The fireworks display will be held at the jetties in Venice which is a major event.

Going to the beach is a real treat because the water temperature is in the high 80's. Wish you were here  to enjoy it with us.

Well, so long for now. Have a wonderful holiday and I'll be back soon.

I think Southwest Florida is passing Spring by and going directly into summer. The days are in the 80's and the weather is beautiful! Even the Gulf of Mexico is warming up. Its about 78 degrees...

Rental reservations for 2012 are unbelievable! I have never had so many properties rented for the following year as I have now. There are some homes and condos available for February and March but not many. If you are interested in those months or any other months, please give me a call! What we have will not be there for long. Also, we are now taking annual rentals. I only have one that is still available, but it is really great...If you are looking for a wonderful yearly rental, please let me know. I hope that we will be getting more very soon. Keep an eye on my website for any additions.

Very soon now our winter visitors will be leaving to go back north where their weather has gotten much better. The traffic is much lighter but we do look forward each year to our friends coming back to Florida.

Everyone take care and I will be back soon!

Well, the holidays are over, Valentine's Day is gone and we are looking forward to Spring! I will have to say the weather this year has been much warmer than last year. The days have been sunny and great beach weather!

We had almost every rental unit rented the first of February and the same will be happening the first of March. So much of the country has been under snow and ice this year, that it makes Florida a paradise. However, Florida would still be Paradise even if the north was not so cold..

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. Christmas day here was beautful, sunny and in the 70's. Well, I guess that is enough about our beautiful, warm, sunny, unbelievable Florida. You will just have to come down and see for yourself. If you need any help with those vacation plans, just give me a call.

Take care and stay warm.

Well, its that time of year again. It is so hard to believe that Christmas is only 2 days away and we are almost into another year, 2011! The weather here on the sun coast has been beautiful for the last few days. It is suppose to remain in the 70's for a while and that is great by me. Hopefully, we will not have the cold winter in 2011 that we had in 2010. However, a cool winter in Florida is better that a really cold winter anywhere else..

If you still haven't made your vacation plans for next year, now is the time to do it. Most of our villas, homes and condos are rented for the months of February and March. But you know, April is one of the best months down here. It is before the rainy seaon, warmer than January and the rates are lower in many homes. So make your plans to come on down.

Here's wishing everyone a very, very happy and healthy holiday season. Hope to see you next year..

I hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving! We had the most beautiful weather here in southwest Florida! It was in the 80's with lots of sunshine. We are in for a little "cold" spell now. It is suppose to be 70 degrees for a high each day!! You just can't beat that..

Its really getting cold up north and people are calling to reserve a vacation home for 2011. February and March are just about gone, but I do have some availabilities for January and April. April is a beautful month in Florida and most of the rental rates are lower. If you are worried about not being able to come down and will loose your monies, there is a great vacation insurance plan. All of the details are on the home page of this website. This is a great way to make sure that if you have any problems and for some unknown reason cannot keep your plans, you will be fully refunded.

Well, take care and stay warm. Until next time.....

Finally fall is here in Southwest Florida! The temps are in the high 60's at night and mid 80's during the day with no humidity. It is wonderful!! What a great time for playing golf and going to the beach. Pretty soon, if not already, it will start getting very cold up north. Now is the time to make your reservations for a winter in Florida (or at least a part of it.) We are almost out of availability for February and March so I would not wait much longer.

The Sun Fiesta is the week-end of October 15, 16 & 17 on Venice Avenue in downtown Venice. It will be a fun week-end with a parade, arts & crafts, good food, and lots of entertainment. If you are in the area, make plans to attend.

Well, thats about it for now. Until later......

Hi Everyone,

Summer is almost over and school is going to be staring in a few short weeks. Where has the time gone?? We are now in our rainy season which is very good for all of our beautiful plantings and palm trees. However, beach time and fishing is better in the mornings. It seems like we have rain just about every day in the afternoon hours. It has been very hot here but actually, it has been cooler than most other states.

Reservations for the 2011 season are now picking up. February and March rentals are almost gone, but January homes (some) are still available. April is pretty much open, which is one of my favorite months here in Southwest Florida. The weather is nice, the gulf is warm and the rainy season doesn't start until about July.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July and now looking forward to Labor Day!

Until next time,

Diana

Summer is truly upon us and it is already the 4th of July! It seems like it was just Memorial Day. The weather here has been very hot, but not as hot as the east coast. We never see temps in the 100's, only heat index. However, after the cold winter that we had, we are loving the heat. The Gulf of Mexico is in the high 80's and is wonderful to swim in. We are very lucky that we have NO OIL in our waters and none is expected to be coming on to the west coast. We do feel very sorry for the people who are having to endure the oil spill.

Changing the subject, rentals are up for 2011. I have taken more reservations now for next year than I had taken this time last year. I think people really are looking forward to coming down and no one has commented on the oil spill or seem to listen to all the negative publicity that we have gotten. You just can't beat vacationing in Venice or the surrounding areas. We have rentals in Osprey, Nokomis, Venice, Venice Island, Englewood and North Port.

Thats about it for now. Enjoy the holiday and be safe. Until next time....

Diana
